NightQuarter features night markets, micro-restaurants, emerging fashion and a unique live music space, featuring over 120 speciality food purveyors, designers, musicians and craftspeople within a shipping container city.

Having brought our Buskers Bar to life back in 2016, owners Michelle and Ian are committed to bringing back their themed drinking quarters to BBTC18. Their CARNIVAL inspired cocktails are a must-try!

If you haven't been to NightQuarter in Helensvale, do yourself a favour! It's a festival every weekend!

Check them out!

Gold Coast Barges

They barged on in back in 2015 and brought our first ever water stage alive with their country music showdown and they've been back every year since! We've had a floating stage, half-pipe and circus, with a surprise in store for 2018!

A heartfelt thankyou to Greg, Tracy and family for hearing our grand plans and having the same belief that 'anything's possible'!

They'll also be performing again ... circle "The Bridge" on the event program!

Gold Coast City Council

Thank you again to the Major Events Team and Cr Gail O'Neill for their ongoing support!

The approval of the park grounds and the combined financial contribution to cover the festival amenities and cleaning, our public liability insurance, security and shade hire is certainly appreciated! Without the support of our city and other event sponsors, it would be impossible to keep the festival free entry for all!

Connecting Southern Gold Coast

We would like to thank Peter Doggett and his team for their valuable contribution, which will assist towards the high costs involved. Twelve months planning goes into our event and without the support of our Council entities, a free entry system would not be possible.

Gold Coast Graphic Design

The team are once again in the design seat and we thank Director, Kelly for continuing to offer her services pro-bono. Hats off to Racheal who illustrated our Octoman last year, he certainly gave our festival the SHIPWRECKED face we envisioned. Her illustrative hat is back on, with this year's theme being even more colourful and CARNIVAL crazy!

The guys have been behind us since our inaugural year back in 2014 and we certainly wouldn't look as fabulous without them!

Stick It Signs

Our hats go off to Drew and Garry who have been sponsors since BBTC's inception. From our 'Blue Girl Barge' to parking signs, stage theming and stickers, these boys are there to produce our masterpieces and work around the clock to make us picture perfect! And all for love!

Don't go anywhere else if you need anything in the way of signage - these boys are the only go to's!

Eleven Production Services

For the last four years, champion Dan Aurora has gone above and beyond the call of duty.

Not only has Dan provided our sound equipment and services for the festival, Battle of the Buskers and side street events, he's also road-tripped to Timbuktu and back in search of theming treasures.

Eleven Production Services - the only place to go for all your sound requirements!

Gold Coast Tipis

Unique theming of our festival is an extremely important factor, as we aim to create individual spaces and worlds to bring a sense of the unexpected to all visiting.

A massive shout out to our local Burleigh family Benn, Hannah and little Lennox who will be bringing a touch of luxe to our Brazilian Carnival themed BBTC18.

We can't wait for some tipi hashtag moments #bbtctipimoment

The Neumann Group

Established in 1948 by Alfred Neumann, the Neumann Group of Companies has a proud and successful history. Commencing operations as a sand mining business, the group has developed and diversified over the years and now trades within the steel, dredging, civil construction, quarrying, pre-mixed concrete, mineral sands and land development industries.

Not only are they one of our beloved media partners, BlankGC have offered a media package to the act who takes out our Battle of the Buskers!

Our battle is scheduled for kick off at the Currumbin Creek Tavern on Friday 14th October from 7.30pm. It's one of our favourite 'Side Street' events that's been running since 2014, with past battlers Katie Who and The Scrimshaw Four making it into our winner's wall of fame!

BlankGC is our City's cultural voice!

Kitty Kitty Bang Bang

Kitty Kitty Bang Bang is amped to power-up the winner of 2016 Battle of the Buskers with a $2500 Strategic Planning & Publicity Campaign.

Kitty Kitty Bang Bang focuses on planning and implementing release strategies that will generate quality media coverage to build anticipation and demand for the winner’s newly recorded songs from Love Street Studios.

Kylie is a media and marketing guru and we're stoked she's jumped onboard to help see our winner jump to that next level!

Byron Bay Bluesfest Busking

The winner of our 'Battle of the Buskers' not only walks away with cash and a recording package, they also get granted a free ride ticket straight to the grand final of the prestigious Bluesfest Busking competition!

When we approached organiser Anita Collenbrander, she was delighted to collaborate and we couldn't believe her enthusiasm from the onset! This wonder woman knows all there is to know about busking, so we've also signed her to the judging panel of our Battle!

Their Bluesfest Busking 2014 winner, Grizzlee Train are also booked to play our main stage! These guys were snapped up for Kasey Chambers' American tour and we recommend you park up and see them light the stage!

As like 2014, 2015 and 2016, they've again offered a feature article and ongoing editorial support for our "Battle of the Buskers" winner.

A return shout out to Sam, Chloe and team, THANK YOU!

A massive thanks goes out to the team at Scenestr for jumping onboard as a BBTC media partner in 2017.

These guys circulate their magazines in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth which gives us further national reach out on the streets!

Special Thanks

Greenfest Solutions

Does anyone think of the waste that's accumulated over the two days and who's hard at work behind the scenes cleaning the toilet and bin facilities? It's been Cindy's dad the last two years but this year thanks to Diana Hartung, he can put his feet up and enjoy the show!

Diana will be kitting out our head volunteer Tim and his team with the gear and equipment needed to keep our green clean!
